Show Summary
‘The Hills’ seasons are totally reality based created by Adam DiVello. Lauren Conrad, Heidi Pratt, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port and Kristin Cavallari have been featured as leading characters in different seasons. The show tracks the private lives of these young people living in Los Angeles, California. The opening theme “Unwritten” has been given by Natasha Bedingfield. It is originally broadcasted on MTV channel. ‘The Hills’ Season 1 was premiered on 31st May, 2006.
The Hills seasons started by showcasing the personal life of Lauren Conrad after she left to Laguna Beach with her friend Heidi Pratt and moved to Los Angeles. Lauren’s ex boyfriend, Jason, came to Los Angeles to take her back but the two breaks up eventually. She starts dating Brody; both of them had short lived relationship. They continued as best friend but Lauren carried feelings for him. Getting tensed by her situation she turns to her childhood friend, Lo and Audrina for lighting her heart soon gets upset because of a rumor about her and blames Heidi for starting all this. Spencer founds him unable to satisfy Heidi and surprises her with a Mexico trip. Audrina starts spending her free time with Justin Collins. At the party of Lauren’s 23rd birthday, Heidi founds Spencer flirting with a bartender but he promises her not to repeat the same and both of them decide to marry. Lauren attends the wedding of Heidi even though she did not have good relationship with her. Kristin Cavallari, the former Laguna Beach star, has replaced Conrad in the later half of fifth season and signed a contract to continue till Season 7. The show’s ratings were always one of the highest for any cable network and MTV which attests that millions of viewers watch this show. It has been labeled as “New Classic” by Entertainment Weekly. It has achieved 82nd position in ‘The 100 Best Shows of the Last 25 Years’. The Hills season 6 will be premiering on Tuesday, 29th September, 2009 at 10:00 pm on MTV.
