Being the star of the reality TV show ‘The Hills’ that she is, Whitney also has many other notable works to her credits. Whitney started off as an intern for ‘Women’s Wear Daily’ magazine for two summers. After which she worked with ‘Teen Vogue’. She left her job at Teen Vogue because she thought that just a desk job is not what she is looking for. Currently she is working with The People’s Revolution, a firm heavily involved in the fashion world. All of this has been a part of the reality TV series ‘The Hills’ where she is playing herself. In the series we have seen her in all the four seasons. She is a friend of Lauren. When in the first season Lauren refuses to take the internship that is offered to her at Paris, it is Whitney who goes for it.
Whitney wants to make it big in this huge world of Fashion. To make her this dream come to reality, in March 2008 she launched her own line of clothing under the name Eve & A. As far as her television career is concerned, it has recently been confirmed that she will receive her own spin-off from ‘The Hills’ entitled ‘The City’. The series will cover the life and challenges that Whitney will have to face as she moves to New York City to work for fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg. The series will air in December 2009. Whitney has also appeared in an episode of the series Entourage, where she appeared as herself.
Whitney is the second youngest of five brothers and sisters. She is currently staying in Los Angeles and is dating Jay Lyon, of the Queanbeyan-based band, Tamarama.
