Well, now what can one write about a person, whose life, whole world is watching on television? Lauren Conrad, the star of the hit show ‘The Hills’, whole life is well known to all of us. I guess we all are well versed with each and every development that takes place in Lauren’s life. But there is obviously something that has not been shown on television.
Lauren was born to Jim and Kathy Conrad and is the eldest of three children. Her father is an architect and her mother handles her fathers business. At a very young age when girls don’t think of careers. Lauren took an important step which almost changed the whole course of her life and brought her in the limelight. While still in high school, Lauren signed on a role on MTV’s ‘Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County’ and in an over night, she became a star.
After Laguna Beach ended, MTV cast her in a role of herself in a spin off series ‘The Hills’. ‘The Hills’ showcases her life from the time she moved to LA to attend classes at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Her whole life since then, her friends, her affairs, her problems are on screen.
Lauren basically is interested in becoming a fashion designer and has recently launched a line of clothing of hers. Her fashion show was a huge success. Lauren managed to get herself an internship at Teen Vogue, which was a part of the reality show. She is currently working as a coordinator at People’s Revolution along side Whitney Port. The star is now planning to write a book and has also managed to crack a three book deal with HarperCollins. Lauren is also the national spokesperson for College Tonight.
Lauren has also announced that this season, i.e. the fourth one is her last one and that she would not be appearing anymore on this reality show and intends to focus on being a fashion designer.
