The news about her exit has been confirmed both by Lauren herself as well as the executive producer of the show, Liz Gately. Both Lauren and Liz have termed Conrad’s departure as bittersweet, with Liz further commenting that she understands Conrad’s decision to move on and lead a private life. The Hills, which has made Conrad a household name, is planning to give a big and warm send off to the twenty three year old fashion designer.  The creators will also be contemplating as to how they plan to continue the show after Lauren’s exit at the end of the upcoming fifth season. Maybe they can just book in another celebrity who will allow the filming of his/her life.

Recently, the star admitted that she has been doing the series for five years now and that five years is really long time. She also said that this is the time when she is really attached to the show but she said that she is now ready to leave the show. What kind of attachment is that?

The star said that for five continuous years her whole life has been in front of everyone. She further said that, when your whole life is on television it gets very difficult especially when it comes to maintaining relationships. She said that everything about you is known and then people make things even worse for you, by escalating the issues rather than help you solving them.
